DEMO NIGHT PAPERS: During the FDL 2014 Demo Night, universities and public research institutes are invited to demonstrate their hardware platforms, prototypes and tools. The goal of this event is to present ongoing research activities, collaborative projects and to show demonstrations. Authors should submit their extended abstracts (2 pages, double-column IEEE format) in PDF through the web based submission system. Accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings with an ISSN and ISBN number.

REGULAR PAPERS: (6-8 pages, double column, IEEE format) should provide comprehensive details on innovative and complete research or applicative work with evidence of experimental results. Regular papers may also include proposals for standardization.

WORK-IN-PROGRESS PAPERS: Submissions to FDL WiP should describe original on-going work. Authors are encouraged to outline work-in-progress as short papers (2-4 pages, double column, IEEE format). Papers exceeding the maximum length will not be reviewed.

Both REGULAR and WORK-IN-PROGRESS submitted papers should be anonymous, are required to describe original unpublished work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors should not hide previous work, instead, they need to make self-references in third person.

Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and will be published in electronic form with an ISSN and ISBN number. The FDL proceedings, including the accepted WiP papers, will be available on the ECSI website and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Please note that an ECSI account is not required for paper submission. The paper submission is handled through EasyChair. Questions, please contact office [at] ecsi [dot] org.
