About Bremen
The 1,200 year old Hanseatic City of Bremen, home to the world famous Town Musicians, puts itself on the map as the pulsating heart of North West Germany. A popular hive of heritage, science, high technology and space industry keeps up breathtakingly pacy innovations. The city has a unique quality that ensures a metropolitan city experience like no other - from rejuvenated Schlachte Promenade on the River Weser and the full-sized Colombus Space Module of the Internation Space Station to wold beating attractions like the Universum Science Center Bremen.
The Bremen Airport is very well connected to international hubs. Several daily shuttle flights to/from Frankfurt, Munich, Paris and Amsterdam exists. Besides that, connections to dozens of European cities are provided. From the Bremen Airport, there is a 10 minute ride by tram to the city centre.

Conference Venue
The conference will take place at the "Haus des Wissenschaft" (House of Science) in the city centre of Bremen. The house can be easily reached by tram or bus as follows: From the Bremen Airport take the tramline 6 (towards "Universität") until the station "Domsheide".
From the Bremen main station, take the tramline 4, 5, 6 or 8 or the bus line 24, 25 (towards "Domsheide") until the station "Schüsselkorb".
From these stations, you will find the Haus der Wissenschaft using the map shown on the right-hand side of this page.
