Conference on Design and Architectures for Signal and Image Processing
Smart Image Sensors
Michel Paindavoine – University of Bourgogne, France
Stéphane Guyetant – CEA LIST, France
Nowadays, new microelectronics technologies associated with methodologies for algorithm-architecture adequacy allow the integration on compact embedded systems of complex image processing algorithms. Thus in the field of CMOS image sensors, new devices have emerged that integrate directly into or near the focal plane image processing and information extraction algorithms for pattern recognition.
The objective of this special session is to present advances in the latest research on smart image sensors.
This call for papers solicits papers on the following topics: high dynamic image sensors, high speed image sensors, image sensors with inside low-level image processing and/or image features extraction, smart image sensors applications (mobile phones, automotive, robotics, security, medical...)
Image sensors, CMOS, embedded image processing, embedded feature extraction
