DASIP2016 is pleased to invite delegates to attend the
OpenCL ALTERA flow workshop
It is a one day hands-on training being held on Tuesday October 11, 2016, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
While OpenCL is a new concept, Altera has been part of it since 2010 and in 2011 we started with an early proof of concept with 9 customers performing evaluations. Then, in 2012, we released our Early Access Beta program and had several demos at the Supercomputing conference. In 2013, we released Altera SDK for OPenCL as a full public release product.
It’s now the time to give you the opportunity to dive into this solution.
- Presentation of the ALTERA solution
- LAB :
o A complete walk through the OpenCL ALTERA flow
o Use cases demonstrating some performance optimization techniques
What is it not :
A OpenCL training on the language.
What is the targeted audience :
- Software engineers
- Cuda/OpenCL developpers.
This workshop is free of charge for DASIP 2016 delegates but places are limited. Please do not apply to this workshop if you are not sure you can attend.
DASIP organizers reserve the right to accept or refuse registrations based on the desire to enable the broadest spectrum of companies, labs and universities to participate.
To participate in this hands-on training, attendees will need to bring their own laptop. ALTERA will provide link and instructions to install virtual machine pre-installed environment. Also ALTERA will bring development kit used during the workshop.
